Amen Drum and Bass Sets

Amen Drum and Bass sets

Amen Drum and Bass consists of heavy drum loops which are usually accompanied by deep or warped sub basses and sometimes with added eerie soundscapes or orchestral strings. The drums are based on samples from what is known as the Amen break, an infamous loop featured in the song “Amen, Brother”, a 1960s soundtrack by The Winstons.

It is by far the most sampled track in the history of music and has been used in a range of musical styles including hardcore (oldschool jungle), hip-hop and, of course, Drum and Bass.

Since the early 1990s, there were many huge Amen tracks around. These mixes aim to highlight the very best of this style of music with the finest arrangements of chopped up drum patterns and unforgettable samples.
