After over two decades of producing DJ sets, bootleg remixes and mashups, “You Weren’t There” (feat. Elara) marks my very first original Drum & Bass single release!

Written by myself, this track is about a constant struggle to forget someone who isn’t around anymore but is always being remembered.

While the core melody, arrangement and song structure were written and produced entirely by myself, the initial vocal stem, bassline idea and piano motifs originated from AI generation. From there, every single element was extensively reworked, re-sampled, mixed, and produced from scratch to transform those raw ideas into a fully crafted, soulful liquid DnB production.
